Investment Policy

It is the Catholic Foundation of Manitoba’s responsibility to provide proper stewardship of the funds provided as gifts by donors. In addition, it is the Foundation’s responsibility to ensure sound stewardship of fund growth in order to maximize the ability of the Foundation to meet its commitment to donors in keeping with its Mission and Vision.

The Foundation has developed an investment policy which provides for optimal returns while minimizing risk to the Fund portfolio. Under the supervision of the Board of Directors and in keeping with the Catholic Foundation of Manitoba’s Investment Policy, fund assets are invested by a professional investment firm which provides regular reports to the Foundation Board.

 

The Investment Policy may be examined at the Catholic Foundation of Manitoba Office. The accompanying statements of financial position, operations, and changes in fund balances are derived from financial statements contained in the Annual Report which are audited by Rawluk & Robert, Chartered Professional Accountants.
